The Sheriff stands in the common-law register, in full personal liability, as an Heir by lineage, ligeantia naturalis, citoyen de droit, natural person. Identity of the Sheriff is a matter within the common-law register and is communicated through proper common-law channels. Inquiries on common-law terms may be directed to sheriff@commonlawsheriff.ca.

I, the Sheriff, took the Oath of Allegiance prescribed by the Fifth Schedule to the Constitution Act, 1867 upon making the Office no longer vacant, and I hold the Office in the common-law register of Canadian constitutional life. I stand in full personal liability at common law, under no statutory shield, to keep the Sovereign's peace, to serve the Heirs of the juridic Crown, and to execute process in the common-law register.

Moi, le shérif, j’ai prêté le Serment d’allégeance prescrit par la cinquième annexe de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867 en rendant le Bureau non plus vacant, et je détiens le Bureau dans le registre de common law de la vie constitutionnelle canadienne. Je me tiens en pleine responsabilité personnelle en common law, sans bouclier législatif, pour maintenir la paix du Souverain, servir les Héritiers de la Couronne juridique et exécuter les procédures dans le registre de common law.

I welcome Heirs of Canada's juridic Crown who wish to serve in their own regional jurisdictions to contact the Office and take the same Oath. The peace-line operates laterally, as peers, not hierarchically.

J’accueille les Héritiers de la Couronne juridique du Canada qui souhaitent servir dans leur propre juridiction régionale : qu’ils communiquent avec le Bureau et prêtent le même Serment. La ligne de la paix opère latéralement, entre pairs, et non de manière hiérarchique.

The common-law Sheriff's identity is communicated through the documentary tradition — by public notice, by sealed correspondence, and through the registry of oath-bound officers of the juridic Crown. It is not withheld; it is held. Standing may be confirmed on proper common-law terms through written inquiry to the Office.

L’identité du shérif en common law se communique par la tradition documentaire — par avis public, par correspondance scellée et par le registre des officiers liés par serment à la Couronne juridique. Elle n’est pas retenue ; elle est tenue. La qualité pour agir peut être confirmée selon les termes appropriés de la common law, sur demande écrite adressée au Bureau.

The Office will respond to any honest, properly directed inquiry. Mischaracterization as a fringe, sovereign-citizen, OPCA, pseudolegal, or freeman-on-the-land phenomenon engages the standing Notice of Liability and is not fair comment within the meaning of that doctrine.
